The value of each card is determined by its value and the suits have no effect on this. The value of a hand depends on the combination of the cards:

Royal Flush - composed of 10, Jack, Queen, King and Ace, all of the same suit.

Straight Flush - five cards in numerical order, all of the same suit.

Four of a Kind - four cards of the same numerical value and a random card.

Full House - three cards of the same value plus a pair

Flush - five cards of the same suit, regardless of value

Straight -five cards in numerical order, regardless of their suits.

Three of a Kind - three cards of the same numerical rank, others are just random cards

Two Pair - two sets of pairs, and another random card

One Pair - one set of pairs, and the other three are just random cards

High Card - no card combination. In this situation, the highest value among the cards is considered
